Lawyers Life Network (LLN) supports estate-planning attorneys who offer financial products such as life insurance, long-term care, or annuities to their clients.

Our purpose is to enable you to provide one-stop shopping for your clients and for you to participate in commissions generated through the sale of appropriate, high quality insurance products to your clients.

The founder of LLN, Harry S. Margolis, Esq., is an elder law attorney and licensed insurance agent in Boston, Massachusetts. As well, Harry is the President of ElderLawAnswers, the leading provider of web-based practice development tools for elder law attorneys. Harry has successfully integrated insurance sales into his practice while maintaining ethical standards by providing best available financial instruments to meet the estate planning goals of clients, along with a thorough system of disclosures.

LLN’s brokerage partner is First American Insurance Underwriters (FAIU), located in Needham, Massachusetts and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In business for more than 30 years, FAIU works with more than 50 insurance companies and is licensed in all 50 states. Combining an exceptional staff and use of industry technology, FAIU has become one of the leading insurance brokerage houses in the country.

Management Team

Harry S. Margolis, Esq., President

Harry S. Margolis is the founder and President of Lawyers Life Network. He is also the founder and President of ElderLawAnswers, the leading provider of web-based practice development tools for elder law attorneys. An Elder Law attorney since 1987, Mr. Margolis is also the founder and managing attorney of Margolis & Bloom, a law firm specializing in elder law based in Boston, Massachusetts. He is the editor of The ElderLaw Report and The ElderLaw Portfolio Series and author of the ElderLaw Forms Manual. Mr. Margolis is a fellow of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and has been a member of the adjunct faculty of Boston College Law School.

Mark R. Miller, General Manager
Mark Miller is the General Manager of Lawyers Life Network. His responsibilities include marketing, product development and customer service. Mr. Miller brings over 15 years of experience in sales and business development for web-based service providers. Past projects have included consulting for McDonald Investments (division of KeyCorp.), Director of Technology Partnership for Food.com and executing web development or licensing agreements with companies such as Noggin (Viacom), FoxFamily, The Discovery Channel and LEGO for Headbone Interactive, a digital media company for kids.

Patrick Herndon, Strategic Development

Patrick Herndon is the National Sales Director for First American Insurance Underwriters (FAIU) and in charge of strategic development for Lawyers Life Network. Patrick joined the First American in January 2009 as the National Sales Director. Herndon has 25 years of industry experience and has held top-level positions at some of the area's leading insurance and financial services companies, including wealth planning business insurance specialist for Merrill Lynch in Boston, regional vice president for Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada in Wellesley Hills, MA, and vice president/regional consultant for Fidelity Investments in Boston. He holds a BA in business journalism from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.

Kelli A. Conroy, Brokerage Manager and Attorney/Agent Services Manager

Kelli A. Conroy, Brokerage Manager, works closely with producers on life insurance case design, advanced sales concepts, producer-client relations and helping them grow their business. Her expertise also includes premium financing and life settlement solutions. Before joining First American, Kelli was a financial services representative for MetLife, where she was a Leaders Conference Qualifier. A Clarkson University graduate, she also has an MBA degree from Babson College.
